Water Supply Works
The following water supply equipment installation must be performed by plumbers designated by Sanda City. For more information, please contact Engineering Department, Waterworks Bureau (Suido Bu Komu Ka; 559-5159)
New Home When building a new house
Expansion When increasing the number of faucets
Remodeling When changing water supply equipment
Repair When repairing water supply equipment due to break down or leakage
Notification Regarding Water Supply
When one of the following cases apply, please make a notification to Service Department, Waterworks Bureau (Suido Bu Gyomu Ka; 559-5157)
Change of Name When the user of water supply changes
Notification of Start of Water Supply When start using water supply
Notification of Discontinuation of Water Supply When stop using water supply
Sewerage, Rural Sewage, Community Plant

(1) Charges
The waterworks charge and the sewerage charge are paid in a lump sum every 2 months. The sewerage charge is used to maintain facilities to purify waster water.

(2) Loan Mediation of Funds for Converting to Flush Toilets
Intermediation service of loan for flush toilet construction is provided so that low-interest loan can be obtained from banks.

(3) Subsidy for Installation of Individual Sewage Treatment Tank
Subsidy is provided to a person who plan to install an individual sewage treatment tank (gappei shori jokaso) in the area not included in the collective treatment area where public sewerage system or rural sewage system apply. Individual sewage treatment tank is installed at each house and can purify miscellaneous drainage and flush toilet waste water which cause pollution of rivers and the sea.

(4) Ordering Drainage Equipment Installation
Please contact a designated plumber for newly installing, adding, remodeling, or repairing drainage equipment.

(5) When Drainage Equipment Malfunctions
If drainage equipment malfunctions (eg. the toilet is clogged and won’t flush, there is bad smell in the lavatory), please make a direct contact with the designated plumber who undertook the installation.
