Child Allowance

Child Support Allowance

Child support allowance is paid to a mother or their substitute who supervises and is a guardian of a child that cannot be supported by his / her father. (However, restrictions based on income do apply.)
Special Child Support Allowance
(Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate)
Special child support allowance is paid to the mother or father or their substitute who cares for a child that has a physical or mental disorder. (However, restrictions based on income do apply.)
Single-father / Orphaned Child Welfare Benefit
(Fushi / Iji Katei Fukushikin)
“Civic Welfare Benefit (Shimin Fukushikin)” is paid one time a year (in December) to a single-father household or a household with orphaned child.
Single-mother / Widow Welfare Fund
(Boshikatei / Kafu Fukushishikin)
Various welfare funds such as school attendance fund are prepared for a single-mother household or a widow.
After-School Club
(Hokago Jido Club)
After-school club provides a place to stay for 1st - 3rd grade elementary school children (and 4th grade children with an Identification Handbook for People with Physical Disabilities [Shintai Shogaisha Techo], etc.) who cannot be taken care of at their home because of guardians’ work, etc.
Temporary Child Care

Takes care of preschool children who need temporary care to meet with diverse working styles of guardians and to alleviate guardians’ fatigue caused by child care.
Caring for a Child Recovering from Illness
(Byogoji Hoiku)
Temporarily takes care of children who are on the course of recovery from illness or injury and faces difficulties being taken care of at home and in a group.

Nursery School

Day nursery services are provided for children of preschool-age whose parents cannot take care of them at home during the day because of work, illness, and child delivery, etc.

Multi-Generation Exchange Center (Tasedai Koryu Kan) is a base where people from various generations, such as preschool children and their families, junior high school / senior high school students, and senior citizens, can socialize casually. Included in the Center are “Exchange Square for Child-raising (Kosodate Koryu Hiroba)” and “Senior and Youth Square (Senior Youth Hiroba)”
Home Visit Program for Child Support Happiness & Dream Supporter of Sanda Children (Sandakko Shiawase Yume Supporter) will be sent to families facing difficulties in child care and housework after delivery or due to family circumstances. The supporter will help the family with child care and housework.
Family Support Center Those who wish to support child raising and those who wish to be supported by them will register as members. They will cooperate with each other and mutually help child raising.
